Our intern for this week is Bankole Ayodeji, a Computer Engineering graduate of the University of Lagos. Bankole loves mathematics, coding and design and is currently doing what he loves as an intern with Nimbus Media.

  1. What is your job description with the organization you currently intern with?

I’m a technical support intern with Nimbus Media. I also provide graphics support for social media upload.

  1. What were your expectations before taking up this internship and have these expectations been met?

To have a platform where I can apply the knowledge gained from my course of study and to also apply my graphics skills.My expectations have certainly been met.

  1. What would you refer to as most challenging about your internship?

For me, it’s the fact I have to come up with innovative ways to solve a problem, be it graphics or system troubleshoot, and make sure my solutions are acceptable. It’s pretty exciting.

  1. What has been the biggest surprise for you since you started?

There has been none so far.

  1. How has the internship changed you or your mindset so far?

The internship has helped me come to terms with the real world.

I don’t know, I have a thing for beans and bread. I think that’s weird.

It’ll definitely be beans and bread

I love Malcolm Gladwell’s books. My favorite is David vs. Goliath.
